L I V A B I L I T Y    P R E F E R E N C E S     S U R V E Y  ...   using Adaptive Conjoint Analysis

The objective of this study is to understand the trade-offs that consumers make when selecting a home.  The below attributes (in bold type) have been determined through qualitative research.  Planners and developers now want to understand the whole population's preference for specific realistic combinations of these characteristics.  Therefore, this survey exposes participants to several competitive neighborhood offerings and asks them to choose the one they prefer, and by how much they prefer it relative to a similar choice.

Please carefully read the below attributes and their corresponding levels.  This information is critical to your ability to accurately answer each question in this demonstration survey.  Your survey scores will be displayed at the conclusion.

Neighborhood Safety: extremely safe, very safe, safe

Commute Time to Work: walk (<20 min.), short drive (<30 min.), long drive (>30 min.)

Access to Shopping for Everyday Needs: walk (<15min.), short drive (<15 min.), long drive (>15 min.)

Note: A good way to evaluate Adaptive Conjoint Analysis is to take a survey.  This demo has been prepared as an example of what a questionnaire for a real Adaptive Conjoint project might look like.  For an actual study more attributes and attribute levels are typically included.
